The Skyspace was an unforgettable highlight, thoughtfully set into its surroundings and adding something unique and meaningful to the Posada Ayana. We felt at home from the moment we arrived, thanks in large part to the staff, who were kind, helpful, and welcoming without ever being intrusive. The architecture, rooms, and outdoor spaces all feel calm and elegant, with real care behind the details, yet nothing is stiff or overdesigned. A special thanks to the owner family, Kofler. Their warmth, style, and evident love for this passion project give the place its soul. Posada Ayana is somewhere we’ll remember and want to return to. Our stay was wonderful, and we felt at ease right away.

The location makes it easy to walk into the heart of José Ignacio, while still feeling tucked away and quiet. The beach, top restaurants, and the town’s relaxed rhythm are all close by. We felt welcomed, noticed, and celebrated on our honeymoon by the warm, attentive staff, who were consistently incredible. Posada Ayana has a fun, immersive design, with thoughtful architecture and tactile details that make being there part of the experience. It’s unique, polished, and luxurious, but still has a soul and never feels like it’s trying too hard. A true gem, special in a very natural way.

I was a bit of a pain with all my questions and rescheduling, but Felicitas was incredibly patient, and the whole team was friendly and accommodating. The stay was perfect, and Posada Ayana exceeded my expectations. We visited another beautiful hotel afterward, in a totally different way, but I would’ve rather spent all my time here. If you love art and design, this is the place. Everywhere you look is stunning. My husband and I will definitely come back one day, if only we didn’t live so far away. I also love supporting a family business, since I work in one too. The attention to detail is usually that much better.

We spent nine days at Posada Ayana for our honeymoon and woke up each morning feeling like we were in paradise. The neighborhood was lovely for walks and runs along the beach or around town, with restaurants and shops close by. Other guests were friendly and happy to chat, while also leaving you to yourself if that’s what you wanted. By the time we left, we were hugging everyone goodbye. I travel every week, and with my hospitality background I’m not easily impressed, but the owners’ care for every detail came through in a way that felt like magic. The decor brings sunshine indoors even at night, and the art, including the James Turrell installation and Dark Matter forest piece, is inspired. The green marble saltwater pool feels a bit like swimming in the ocean without the seaweed. Everyone supporting our stay was friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and attentive, and the plentiful, fresh, thoughtful breakfast was simply divine. It felt like staying in a luxurious home with the warmest, most generous hosts. My husband and I usually like adventure, so we’d worried that staying in one place for the whole visit might not give us enough variety. We wanted somewhere luxurious and special, with great food, near the beach and with a killer pool to keep us entertained. We picked Posada Ayana for all nine days, and it blew even our highest expectations out of the water. The owners made us feel like we were in a 12-star hotel. It is paradise. We’ll definitely be back soon, no question. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
