The staff are so welcoming, and getting around is easy since it’s right across from the bus terminal. The place is lovely, with a simple but comfortable feel and everything well equipped. Every room has air conditioning and a full kitchen, plus its own deck with a hammock and garden furniture.

I can’t recommend this place. There was no hot water, so it felt like a choice between a fifth-degree burn or hypothermia. I also felt unsafe, and the electrical setup left a lot to be desired; one room nearly caught fire. The rooms don’t have the capacity they promise, and the “beds” are mattresses on the floor that are extremely uncomfortable. The fridge didn’t work, and the kitchen fell short of expectations. The quality doesn’t match the price.

I booked through Airbnb, but the person I’d been messaging wasn’t there when I arrived. Some other guys, who seemed to have been out partying, greeted me for the owner and handed me a room. Later that night, other people were in the room I’d been assigned, and the keys I had were for a different one. At 10 pm during Carnival, I was left stranded outside. The owner never replied to my messages, not even to apologize. Stay away from this place!!!

The service was excellent, and I’d definitely come back. It’s a comfortable place with a rustic feel, a lovely deck outside the rooms, and a lush green patio. There’s parking too.
