The dogs came to greet us as soon as we arrived, full of excitement, like they'd been expecting us. They really seem part of the staff. Harald was a wonderful host who made it easy to relax and take in the surroundings. He also seemed to do everything himself, looking after the grounds, baking bread, making breakfast, and keeping everything running smoothly. From the windows and balcony, we could hear hundreds of birds and feel a steady breeze off the sea. It was a great way to be surrounded by forest and still face the ocean. We had a wonderful experience and will return whenever we can.

It's right among the trees, in a great location. Harry is a lovely host and makes generous, healthy breakfasts. We'd definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Peaceful, respectful, and with a great food scene. It feels remote.
