The sheets were really nasty, the bathroom had mold, and the rooms were always dirty. The staff were very unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, try to avoid it.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and surprisingly quiet even though we were only a block from the Main Street in Montevideo. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and breakfast was good. It's an older-style hotel, but good value for the price. I'd definitely come back.

The location is great, and the staff were very accommodating. The Queen and two twins setup is actually adjoining rooms, which worked really well for families. It's an older, dated 3-star hotel in town, but for the price it’s a great stay.

The reception Madam was very kind and understanding about my requests and concerns, and the place itself has a calm atmosphere that’s good for relaxing. There are only a few hotel staff, but the Wi-Fi is free and fast. My main problem was the air conditioning: it didn’t seem properly cleaned, and whenever I adjusted the temperature, black dirt and dust fell from the vents onto my pillow. I worried it might land on my face while I slept. The bed cover was also so rough it irritated my skin.
