The owner was generous with useful information for the rest of my trip around Uruguay. Ciudad Viejo is easy to explore on foot, and supermarkets and bus stops are nearby. There's also a rooftop pool with a beautiful city view. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the price is pretty cheap for what you get. I'd definitely stay here again to explore Montevideo.

I often come to Montevideo for work, but this time I brought my family and wanted a change from my usual hotels. Puertovideo Aparts was a great choice. It was far better than the typical international chain hotels in the city, at any price, and the rate was an amazing bargain.

The location was great, and the room had a huge bed, a functional kitchen, and a hot shower with strong pressure. The sauna and pool were perfect.

We stayed for four weeks while waiting for our motorhome, and the little kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice meal. The rooms were a good size, and the apartment hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff were great, very helpful, and full of tips and local knowledge. It's in the old town, well placed for exploring Montevideo, with the main bus stop just a few meters away so you can get anywhere in the city. We'd stay here again if we come back.

Dirk was a great host, friendly and helpful. The apartment was modern, new, very well equipped, and clean. Really, really good place to stay, and I recommend it.
