The staff made us feel at home and were helpful with everything. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the nice rooftop terrace and a relaxing room. Breakfast was good too. I'd recommend it.

Amo Este Lugar is really, really close to the Tres Cruces bus station, and the rooftop is great too. Susana hosted me and shared lots of useful information for taking a walking tour on my own. Victor and Fede were lovely as well, always warm and welcoming. Nothing but good things to say. Thanks, everyone!

I picked this hostel because of its Booking.com rating, and it actually surpassed what I expected. The place is beautiful and very comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and everything was in excellent shape and tastefully decorated. The staff were especially friendly. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Montevideo.

I was in Montevideo for an exam and only stayed one night, but this place was really nice, safe, comfortable and quiet. The reception, rooms, bathrooms and shared spaces were all excellent, and the mattresses are a dream. I've paid ten times as much at hotels with awful mattresses. For such an affordable price, I definitely recommend it and would happily stay a thousand times over. Thanks!
