Estancia CH

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I can't say enough about how wonderful they were. Our room had plenty of space and everything we needed, including a fridge, kitchen, toiletries, and even a barbecue out back. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and bar, along with the delicious restaurant. It's a peaceful place to get away, while still close enough for a day trip to Punta del Este. The mosquitoes were awful, though. Screens or netting on the windows would help. Aside from that, our stay was perfect!

Estancia CH has a strong focus on the environment, and I wish more places did too. The setting is quiet, peaceful, and feels remote even though it's quite close to Punta del Este. The cabins are comfortable for relaxing alone or with friends, and for simple cooking. Between the great meals and the team's excellent hospitality, we felt completely welcome. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay a great experience. Highly recommended.

There's a large shared area with a bar, pool, restaurant, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, tabletop games, a big kids' playground, a lake, and a lovely organic garden where you can pick vegetables to cook yourself. Breakfast was very good and complete, and sitting by the fireplace to eat was just perfect. In the right season they offer outdoor activities such as climbing, yoga, and birdwatching, while encouraging responsible, sustainable tourism. The staff and service are amazing, and they also put on music shows on weekends. We came to get away from routine and the city and reconnect with nature. It was definitely the right choice. Near Punta Ballena, the place is surrounded by native plants and wildlife. The accommodations are simple but meet your needs, and were built with respect for the natural environment. We'll definitely return in spring or summer!

A relaxed, Bohemian feel and fantastic staff who are always around, plus a lovely breakfast. The laid-back Estancia has cool rustic lodges by a little stream where birds visit, along with newer air-conditioned lodges in the woods and a main building with a restaurant. They grow their own herbs and vegetables. It's a short drive to the Arboretum, the coast, and restaurants, and it's near Punta Ballena, not far from Punta del Este. A lovely, quiet setting. Highly recommended.
