Everything is easy to reach on foot, and the staff were really nice. Our room could use an update, though the mattress and price were okay for what we got. The internet wasn't great, and if you bring a car and use the garage, expect to pay for parking. The hotel itself was a pretty solid meh. I wouldn't stay again, I'd look somewhere else.

A lovely find in the heart of Punta del Este. I booked at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised by the lively location and friendly staff. Room 109 had an extra bed and enough space for all my things, which is useful since I always overpack. I really liked the courtyard and restaurant. Great spot.

The location is good, and breakfast was okay, but nothing special. The photos are misleading, and the furniture is really old. There's a rusty fridge, and a radio speaker in the closet that has no off switch, though it isn't very loud. The bathroom looks old too, you can hear the neighbours, and our bathroom light switched itself on twice one night. The TV is small and only had one channel. One employee even stepped ahead of me in the breakfast line to get his food first. Another staff member was somewhat helpful, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

This has a very vintage 80's feel, and it was built by the owner's grandma. It's kept in good shape, and the owner is a very nice lady who showed me places to go, eat, and play, then helped book a local tour for the next day so I could make the most of my short time and see more than the beach. The service is basic, but everything was very clean. I liked the bed linens and towels, which were bright white and good quality. Breakfast was really nice, with fresh orange juice, yogurt drink, coffee, fruit cup, watermelon, several kinds of bread, cream cheese, cheese and ham, jam, and more. The classic cups and cupboard were lovely. You can eat outside in the garden too, which is especially nice in the morning. Everyone on staff was friendly, and they were flexible about checkout to fit my schedule, just check if you need that. I even got to shower after swimming with the fur seal in Atlantic ocean before checkout. Such a wonderful experience. The bar has a classic style you don't find in other hotels. For what I paid, especially since I wasn't paying for a 4 or 5 star hotel in Punta del Este, it was worth it and more than I expected. The location is super convenient, within walking distance of the bus terminal, popular restaurant, beaches, bar, and shopping mall. Highly recommended!
