We didn't stay. The entrance was dark, nobody came out to greet us or help with our bags, and the room smelled really bad and had spiders. It was clear that cleaning had been neglected. As soon as we arrived, we left.

We paid $170 a night, and the worn bed, damp rooms, spiders, lack of a bidet, and meager breakfast made it feel like poor value. The place is pet-friendly and close to bus stop 14, but Maldonado municipality fines you for taking a dog to the beach. That meant driving 14 km round trip every day to reach a beach where pets are allowed. I won't return. The pool was cleaned only every other day. Service ends at 8 pm, and when we came back at 9 pm, the girl had forgotten to give us a towel that day, so we couldn't swim. I'm also still waiting for the receipt, so this place isn't tax-friendly.

The atmosphere was so peaceful, and our room and the facilities were spotless and in excellent shape. The staff were always available and incredibly attentive. We had a spectacular stay, with top-notch service.

It's an old family summer home set in a beautiful landscaped park, with birds and a peaceful feel. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with private bathrooms. There's a pool, breakfast is good quality, and the service is warm.
