Hotel Azul by MH

The location is great and the service is really good. There's no pool, and the rooms are satisfactory for the price.

The supermarket just a few meters away is handy, and the place itself is very nice. Our room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the weak point: very limited and poor quality, with cocoa instead of hot chocolate, eggs that were partly green, and only two kinds of fruit.

Cesar was fantastic and did everything he could to help us, and the hotel itself has nice rooms and a quite good breakfast. We spent one night in a hostel, then stayed at the hotel for the rest of our trip. We'd had a reservation, but it was canceled the night before, despite being told not to worry and that we could pay on arrival. They had processed our card as credit instead of debit, as we had selected, and didn't take responsibility for leaving us without a room that night. Cesar was a great help. The hotel meets the basic requirements, with just a few minor issues. Some people complain about breakfast, but I honestly didn't think it was bad. Thanks to Cesar!

The location is great, and the price is good for the height of summer. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable, but the hotel needs more care. A little maintenance would help: the bathroom extractor fan doesn't work, the toilet seat is broken, and the last stair step is loose. At 8 am, the maids were banging and dragging things around, so they should start later or be more discreet. Breakfast is very basic, mostly flour: three kinds of fruit, croissants, packaged cookies, sliced white bread, and powdered juice. It would be nice to have ham or bacon, cheese, more fruit, cream cheese, honey, and freshly squeezed juice.
