Everything seemed fine when we first arrived, but the kitchen situation turned into a mess. The listing on booking.com said guests could use a kitchen, and I checked with the host by text. He confirmed there was a fully equipped kitchen for us. So we bought groceries and started making pasta. The mother and sister in the family running the guesthouse began yelling at us and picking at what we were doing wrong. They acted as if we were a huge nuisance, even though we were only cooking pasta. They insisted we weren't allowed to use the kitchen and eventually kicked us out. We've reported them to the tourist police. Shame on you, and we mean it.

Affordable, laidback, and run by a very nice family. A great place to stay in Bukhara, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed hotel.

For the price, the place is very clean and well located for walking to Bukhara's tourist areas. The rooms are clean, and the baths and toilets have good drainage and water pressure. Towels and shampoo are supplied, and they gave me coffee at check-in. There's Wi-Fi in the accommodation building, too. I stayed here alone as a woman and felt it was very nice. It seems there are cats around as well.

The owner has a cool, relaxed personality, and the staff were so friendly that this may be the friendliest place to stay in Bukhara. They greeted us with smiles and warm voices, and served us delicious coffee. The price is affordable, and the cozy atmosphere makes it worth a visit. A couple of things bothered me: the curtains were flimsy and let in too much sunlight, and someone was smoking in the bathroom. Still, I was satisfied apart from that.

It's cheap, very clean, and close to the bus station. The family is friendly, too. I'd still stay here if it cost $10 more.
