I spent hours in the evenings unwinding in the courtyard, drinking tea and chatting with other travelers. It was my favorite part of the stay, and the hostel was easily the best I've stayed in. The rooms are spacious and clean, as are the toilets and showers. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Farhod at the front desk deserves a special mention, he was polite, young, and always ready to help. Breakfast was amazing, with good portions and a different spread each day. There was egg, somsa, potatoes, watermelon, tea, bread, and more. The woman serving breakfast did a great job.

It's a clean hostel in a good spot, just a 6 minute walk from the old city. Breakfast is fresh and tasty, and there's a big outdoor seating area that makes it a very social place.

We cooked some delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and breakfast was the most varied I've had at a hostel. It changed every day. The location is close to the city center but away from a busy street. The staff are friendly and relaxed, which makes it easy for backpackers to meet each other. The beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and has what you need. Just a great experience, definitely stay here if you get the chance.

It feels like staying in an old Bukharan house, with a lovely courtyard in this huge home. The hostel sits in the heart of old Bukhara, so everything is walkable. Staff are really helpful and nice, and the rooms and bathroom are clean with a great vibe. Highly recommended.

For young travelers after comfort, a good atmosphere, and a great location, both hostels are excellent choices. Many backpackers traveling around Uzbekistan stay at Central Park Hostel Khiva and Dervish Hostel in Bukhara.
