Fatima Hotel

A local eventually helped me find a ride, and after some incredible driving I reached the station five minutes before departure. Getting there was stressful because the hotel staff hadn’t told me from the start that Yandex cars couldn’t enter the area in front of Rabi Hauz. I’d used Yandex to head to Bukhara Station, and the staff knew that, but told me that area was off limits for pickups. The app let me set it as the pickup point, so I waited there in vain. I tried repeatedly, but each vehicle turned back about a minute before reaching me. Other cars passed right in front, but no Yandex cars arrived. Then a taxi driver hanging around demanded about $30, which was a terrible experience. The staff just laughed at me for waiting. By the time I returned to the hotel and learned the actual problem, there were only 25 minutes until my train left. Their handling of the situation felt inappropriate and unhelpful. Most of the time there was no problem with the staff, and they responded quickly when I raised things, but this should have been explained from the beginning.

The hotel is clean, the people are good, and the location is awesome. Restaurants are close by, and there’s a nice pond right outside, with venues like shops and restaurants around it. It brings to mind Bukhara’s history as an oasis city on the ancient Silk Road. Beautiful Islamic patterns and architecture are everywhere. The old castle, a popular sightseeing spot in Bukhara, is about a 20-minute walk away.

Breakfast had lots of tasty choices, the room was clean, and the staff were polite. The airport transfer went smoothly with a polite driver. Special thanks to Olim at registration, who made our one day in Bukhara unique and unforgettable. And many thanks to everyone working behind this beautiful hotel. Our baby loved the cot. ❤️🤩😍

The staff were really helpful and stayed one step ahead of what guests might need. The rooms are new and everything was very clean. It’s a very nice hotel with excellent service, right on the main square.
