The location in Bukhara's old town is excellent, but that was the only thing I liked. I ended up here because my original hotel was overbooked. The place was almost empty, the room felt worn out despite being spacious, and the staff seemed uninterested. Laundry was quoted at 50,000 som, then I was charged more than 300,000. With so many other options nearby, I can't recommend it.

I left after only five minutes, even though the location looked great and the reviews had made me excited to stay. The room was damp, the carpet stank, and even the upgraded room with a balcony had a poo smell in the bathroom, plus hair and dirt around. I offered to pay for the water I'd had, but manager Jasmina got angry and aggressive, saying I owed 350000 because she'd already registered me and wouldn't return my passport otherwise. I refused. After she called my agent, the amount dropped to 80000 for registration alone. I was upset and angry, and offered 100000, which she wouldn't take. She told me to get out and called it Sadaka. Be careful with your passport, and avoid this place.

My room was 206, a large corner room with a balcony looking out over the square. The hotel itself is modern, and the setting is hard to beat: right beside the madrasa and leafy square, with a pond and swans and a fantastic restaurant only a few steps away. Ask for that room if you can.

Had a good stay. Nice bed and sofa, and the washroom was good too. It's in a very good spot. The unusual bonus was the perineal spray for the WWC toilet. They also had use n throw shoe.
