Bukhara gets so hot that you need to stay in the hotel from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., so clean, comfortable rooms with brand new equipment are a real help. We spent one night here during our visit. It's a small, very new and nice family-run place, with an interesting design in the rooms and interior. Breakfast was included and nice. The family can help with everything, including currency exchange at a very reasonable rate. The location is nice too. Highly recommend.

The owner's daughter, only 14, really amazed me. She speaks several languages fluently and was a wonderful interpreter when needed. Her intelligence, poise, and kindness are remarkable for her age, and she feels like the shining jewel of the hotel, a great example of the next generation of Uzbeks people. Mumtoz East Hotel was one of the warmest and most memorable parts of my travels in Uzbekistan. The family welcomed me so kindly from the moment I arrived. They were attentive, always smiling, and ready to offer help and advice. The atmosphere feels relaxed, respectful, and personal, something you don't get in big hotels. For an authentic stay in Bukhara with a family who treat you like one of their own, you have to stay at Mumtoz East Hotel. It became much more than a place to sleep, I felt welcome, understood, and inspired. Thank you for everything ❤️
