The food was amazing, and the spot by the shores of Aydar´kol Lake was a big part of why we liked our stay. The cabins were cozy and clean, but in the hottest part of summer the broken A/C made them unusable. It felt close to 50 degrees inside, too hot to safely sleep there, so we took the mattresses outside and slept in front of the cabins. Getting there was an adventure too. There are no signs for the road, and after choosing one of several possible routes, we lost the track a few times and ran into rough road conditions. The price is steep compared with other places in the wider region, though at the lake it’s the only option.
