Astra Hotel

The sink tap sits in the corner and is too short. Bathroom ventilation could be better too.

The breakfast was filling, fresh, and tasty, and the receptionist was lovely, recommending good places, helping with our orders, and bringing dishes up to the room. The rooms are new, clean, and tidy, with toiletries, a robe, slippers, a smart TV, a fridge already running when we arrived, and a quiet air conditioner. It’s right in the center, beside the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs and the prosecutor’s office, so the neighborhood isn’t great 😁, though things feel respectable and elegant. A very nice hotel. Breakfast could be better, but it was very good.

The rooms are cozy and air-conditioned, with the usual hotel amenities. For Karshi, it’s a pretty good hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast could use more choice, like cheese, yogurt, and fruit, plus more drinks. Maybe they could add a local favorite, “tandoor gusht.” Still, it’s good.

After busy days on my business trip, I found the spacious rooms and tasty breakfasts made for a relaxing stay. The hotel is conveniently placed in Karshi’s city center, and the staff were polite and attentive. The service was excellent and the stay pleasant. If you’re in Karshi, it’s a comfortable option to consider.
