The breakfast was a nice start to the day, with fried eggs, homemade chips, and melon. We stayed here for a night while cycling to Samarkand. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful.

We hadn’t visited Kattakurgan in 40 years, and the city has grown with new buildings and multi-story blocks. People were friendly and happy to give directions. The city center hasn’t changed much, though the famous park is gone from its old spot. It was moved opposite the market, and the "Cosmos" cinema has been demolished, with an apartment building going up there. Irgash Ota health resort is right next to the hotel. The hotel itself was very decent, with clean, comfortable rooms, polite staff, water coolers on every floor, fresh linens, and soft towels. I’d pick a second-floor room with a north-facing window onto the courtyard rather than one facing the road.

The buffet breakfast was really nice, and the service and staff were fantastic. It’s a cozy place in a superb location, and I think it’s the best hotel in Kattakuran.

They don’t let you check in without a registry office. It feels like a family hotel, and I think it’s the best option in Kattakurgan. The rooms are clean and cozy, the beds smell fresh, and breakfast is excellent.
