The old town is perfectly placed for exploring from here, and the rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast was generous and authentic, with bread and cucumbers added just after I took the photo, so they're missing from the picture. It's great value for the price, and I'd definitely recommend it.

Breakfast is included, and the location inside the old town is excellent, close to all the attractions. I was generally satisfied with my stay. The rooms are a bit small for a longer visit, but fine for 1-2 nights.

The stay got off to a bad start when the guy demanded 8 dollars more than the Booking price for city tax. I showed him that the booking said taxes were included. He stopped after arguing with us for a while, but the experience was already spoiled. The bathroom is small, the TV didn't work, and the shower curtain was filthy, looking like it hadn't been changed since the Soviet Union. The rooftop was unusable, with no shade in the daytime and no lights at night. Adding umbrellas and ashtrays wouldn't be hard or costly and would make guests more comfortable. There wasn't even a trash basket in the room. And the cleaning lady woke us up screaming at 8 AM.

I really enjoyed my visit to Khiva and stay at this nice family hotel. The room was good enough, it's very central, and the simple breakfast was delicious, a lovely extra.

The rooftop was a highlight, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good, and the service was excellent. It’s a small, nice hotel inside Ichan Kala. There’s no TV, though.
