Be careful about the dinner bill. We agreed on 70000 for two, with everything included, but the amount she asked us to pay later went up to 145000, with bread, drinks, and another portion of salad charged separately. The room was very basic, and even the toilet paper was provided in a small amount. The owner wouldn’t give me a receipt or any proof of my stay, even when I asked. No, no.

The host was nice and breakfast was good, and it’s close to the bus station. The ship cemetery is 3 or 4 kilometres away. Everything else was fine, though the price-to-quality ratio is quite high.

Our Booking.com reservation for one night had been confirmed, but when we arrived at the agreed time, the hotel was locked and closed. It looked like reconstruction might be underway. We waited about 45 minutes, then turned around and drove back to Nukus. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
