The rooms were a good size, and fresh water was provided daily. The beds were the usual firm Central Asian style, but the host gave us a mattress topper that helped. Parking is available on the street outside the front of the hotel. The hosts were extremely friendly and served a huge, delicious breakfast with lots of fruit, meat, eggs, and fresh local bread. The hotel is very close to Siyob Bozori markets and Bibi-Khanym Mosque, and all the other attractions were walkable too.

Agha Aziz, his wife, and family were great hosts, and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast had lots to choose from, and cleanliness was immaculate. In my opinion, the location is the best, close to Siyob Bozor and Shah-I-Zinda. I'd recommend it 100%.

Our host, Aziz, was very kind and welcomed us with a meal and drinks. Sherxan House is a commendable guesthouse in central Samarkand, more like a group of houses arranged around an inner courtyard. Our second-floor room was quite spacious, with a wardrobe and AC that worked fine. The bathroom was okay and had hot water. We could hear some outside noise, though it wasn't too bothersome. Breakfast in the morning was very filling, and when we left they gave us more bottled water. It's close to Samarkand's main attractions, though getting to Tashkent Street takes about a ten-minute walk through alleyways that can be dark at night, but still felt safe. Good value for the price.
