A family-owned place with very welcoming owners and staff, plus a generous breakfast that was delicious. They’d only been in business for seven months when we visited. I’d recommend it to anyone coming to Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Hoping they get lots more guests. 🇵🇭 ❤️ 14pax

Astoria Boutique Hotel is set somewhere peaceful, but still close enough to Samarkand’s main sights to make exploring easy. I slept well in a spotless, comfortable room, decorated with a nice mix of modern style and local character. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive throughout my stay, and breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. It’s a lovely find, and I’d happily come back or recommend it to other visitors.

We felt very at ease here. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-like, the breakfast was better than we expected, and everyone was friendly. Though the hotel sits in a busy area, it’s tucked into a back courtyard, so the rooms stayed pretty quiet. It had only been open for a month when we visited, and the family who own and run it have clearly put a lot of care into the interior. Even the rooms and facilities really do look like the pictures.

The walk from the hotel to Registan square was pleasant, and the place itself was quiet, convenient, clean, and comfortable. It had just opened a couple of months earlier, so everything was brand new. Since we were their first American guests, they gave us royal treatment. The hospitality was outstanding.

We spent two nights at Astoria Boutique and really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, and the family-run place had a warm, welcoming feel. Service was excellent, with friendly staff ready to help. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting the area.
