It was our first time in Samarkand, and we picked this hotel at random. We were happy with the stay: a new, very clean hotel in a quiet spot near the city center, with good service and friendly staff.

The enclosed courtyard was a lovely little oasis for coffee, reading and relaxing. Breakfast was good and nicely presented, and the waiter was enthusiastic and seemed to love his job. There's a wonderful restaurant around the corner called Platan, where I'd suggest booking a table inside if you can. We were here in early October, not long after the hotel opened. We liked it so much that we booked an extra night. Our room was an excellent size, and everything felt fresh, comfortable and very clean. The bed was especially comfortable for a good night's sleep. Credit to housekeeping. The reception staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Reception also arranged a taxi to Tashkent in a new electric car, which was very comfortable, like the hotel. We'd be more than happy to recommend the hotel to family and friends.
