We stayed for four nights and really liked the service and location. It’s a family-run hotel with 29 rooms and a pool, and the full breakfast from 7:30-9 am was excellent. Highly recommend! The AC in our room needed replacing, but they provided a fan. They’re working on putting new AC in all the rooms, though the architecture makes it physically difficult. Try to book a room with the new AC.

The open area at the hotel was my favorite, especially at night. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the room was clean. I did notice some insects, though, and there wasn’t a kettle or tea in the room. Staying here felt like experiencing a bit of historic life. Amazing hotel!

The hotel’s courtyard and seating area were lovely, and breakfast was fantastic. The location worked well too, about a five minute walk to Registan Square. I went there at both sunrise and sunset during our two days. Our room was on the first floor and took a while to find in the sprawling layout. It was large, with three beds, a seating area, and a desk, and was blissfully quiet. The bathroom was very dated and needed a proper shower cubicle. The toilet also wouldn’t accept flushed paper. We stayed for two nights as part of a tour. The hotel is on a quiet backstreet, and the surroundings looked a bit dodgy to walk around at first. It turned out to be fine once you don’t judge by European standards. People in Uzbekistan are far more civilised.

A decent, clean place to stay near Registan and places to eat. The staff were friendly and spoke English, and breakfast was decent too.

The location is good, but I wasn’t happy with the rooms. They weren’t clean or well organized, there was no water boiler, and the bathrooms didn’t even have toothbrushes.
