A nice spot.

It's in a quiet area, and we liked staying here. The hotel feels cozy and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a bathroom. The staff are friendly. Towels are provided, though I'd bring your own. Ask the manager if you need ideas for places to visit or eat, he's happy to help 😊.

We really enjoyed Samarkand, but not this hotel. It's quite far from the center, and reaching our room on the third floor meant carrying luggage up stairs because there was no elevator. We asked to get into our rooms at 10:30 a.m. since our car was due at 11. There were six adults and seven children. The staff waited until most of us had gone out with our bags, then at 11, even after the car had arrived, they started counting towels. They said three towels were missing from the room where four children had slept. We didn't have time to look into it, and we weren't about to go back upstairs with our luggage. We had paid for the towels. A charger had also slipped behind the nightstand, where the dust was terribly thick.

The place is fairly noisy, which was the main drawback. Still, it offers decent value for the price: cozy rooms, friendly staff, and a reasonable complimentary breakfast. Family rooms have a bathroom and shower. It's somewhat outside the center, though still walkable, and a "free" Samarkand taxi can take care of the rest.
