What stood out most was how kind the people were. After sightseeing, staff would ask if I needed anything, and I usually took a bottle of water. They kept items I’d left behind when packing in a hurry and even offered me tea before I left for my train. Breakfast is served daily from 8 a.m., with fried eggs, pancakes, bread, cold cuts, and fresh fruit. It was enough to keep me going during Ramadan. This feels more like a local homestay than a hotel, just behind Registan Square and within easy walking distance of the major sights. The rooms are a bit dated, with thin doors, and cleaning is available on request. Still, they’re warm and cozy at night, and there’s plenty of hot water for a bath.

The staff were really helpful and kindly let me check out a bit later because I had a late train to tashkent. Breakfast was very nice, too. The hotel is right by the registan square, with basically all the sights within a 15-20 minute walk. Brilliant place, and its 9.7 on booking.com is well deserved.

The location made it easy to reach Registan Square and the other attractions. They gave me a map and explained where to walk, so I didn’t need Yandex. Breakfast was good, too. What I’ll remember most is how kind this family was. I accidentally left my other mobile phone in the toilet, and they contacted me through Agoda. It was my fault for not checking sooner, but their son really tried to get it back to me while I was at the train station. Their hospitality was 10/10. I’d highly recommend staying here if you want to experience the local neighborhood vibe.

The building had lovely traditional decor, and the location was superb, just behind Registan Square. My room was clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. A great place to stay while exploring Samarkand.
