6/10
The hotel has a faded-glory feel, but the beds were comfortable and there was lots of hot water. The location is good, and the WiFi was reasonable. Breakfast is small but adequate. Rooms can feel a little warm despite the central air conditioning. If you're in a front room, be aware that the restaurant right outside can make Friday night a little noisy. It wasn't horrible, just something to keep in mind.

Very clean, with service and a location we loved. Jamshid greeted me as soon as I walked in and was professional and respectful. Javlon was also very helpful and made us feel at home. Our stay at The Royal was outstanding, and we'll definitely return. Awesome hotel, A+.

I don't recommend it. Bad service, and the person at reception was hard to understand.

I stayed for a week and found the conditions top-notch. The hotel is right in the heart of Samarkand, in a convenient location. The rooms are cozy and everything is very clean, with a delicious breakfast included. The staff are attentive, and the guide who accompanied me helped us visit lots of places.
