The family who run this guest house made our stay special. They were kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, and each morning they put out a generous breakfast of homemade food. The samsa I tried one morning was the best of my whole Uzbekistan trip, fresh and full of flavor. We also loved the setting: just behind Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, where Tamerlane rests. The blue dome looks beautiful from the terrace, especially at sunset. Our room was spotless and cozy, and the price was great for what we got. We were incredibly lucky to stay here, and I warmly recommend it. The family clearly run the place with care and passion.

The rooftop terrace is huge, and the view from it is really special. Mehribon Guest house is also perfectly located. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the family hosting us put so much care into things that we felt at home. The breakfasts were the best we had in Uzbekistan.

We parked our two motorbikes right at the guesthouse, which was a real plus. The main sights are all nearby, and there’s a rooftop terrace for watching the sunset. We stayed three nights. The room was super clean, breakfast was delicious, and the family were lovely.

This was our best stay in Uzbekistan. The host was really nice, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. I’d recommend it to anyone going to Samarkand.
