Right from our arrival, the warm and genuine hospitality made us feel like we were visiting someone's home instead of staying at a hotel. We had a wonderful time at this charming family-run place.

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and the place was exceptionally clean and well looked after. Breakfast was excellent every morning. The pool was a big bonus, and they have an adorable puppy that runs around the yard without barking! The bed was VERY firm and took me a night to get used to, but the hospitality made up for it.

The place is beautiful and very well cared for by the owner, Mr Shafqat, and his family. It's on the road, about 3 km from Registan Square, so the location is great. Breakfast is very, very basic, and the price is on the higher side, but it's still a good place for a staycation.

The beds are hard as rocks, like Asian mattresses tend to be. If you like a super-firm bed, or if the mattresses were a little more forgiving, this would be five stars. The welcome from the owner is enthusiastic, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, the food is excellent, and the pool is lovely for cooling off. That friendly service really makes Latif shine.

Really liked this place and would come back. The admin was very polite and helpful, and everything was clean and tidy. For Samarkand, the price and location are perfect among the hotels. I'd recommend it to everyone.
