The room next door had about 10 people making a lot of noise from 5 am every day, and the walls are paper thin. The toilet smelled strongly of sewage. When we asked for something to reduce the odor, they sent someone who sprayed once instead of leaving the spray with us. The building looks new but seems unfinished, with cables sticking out of the wall. Breakfast was among the worst I’ve had: one banana, some rice, four slices of bread, and two eggs for the whole “buffet,” plus awful instant coffee and no real coffee. At checkout, we were made to wait like hostages while they checked that we hadn’t stolen anything from the room. It felt disrespectful and rude. The people running the hotel seemed greedy, very conservative, and annoying. They kept looking for validation or compliments, though the quality gave us little to compliment. We felt like a burden and as if they were going out of their way to do the bare minimum we’d paid for as guests. The constant religious music and references, along with judgmental behavior toward me and my partner, felt really disgusting. Maybe this would suit someone who is Muslim, but it didn’t suit us.

The hotel is new, recently opened, clean, cozy, and beautiful. It really felt like home, and there’s a view of the Registan. The breakfasts were delicious, and there are lots of nearby restaurants with good food. It’s not far from the city center, and there’s a shuttle service. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, especially during the day. I’d recommend this to anyone traveling to Samarkand. Sincerely, your new client!!!

I really appreciated the warm welcome and great service from the hotel staff. The location is convenient, with everything close by, and the room was just as described, clean and cozy. It was also quiet and comfortable, which made for a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

Our stay was in Room 101, though I can’t speak for the others. The mattress was uneven and made it impossible to sleep, and there was no electric kettle. I’ve stayed in many places with my family and had minor issues before, but a mattress is essential, and I’ve never had a room without one. When I asked reception for a kettle, they said there wasn’t one in the room and that we could get boiling water there instead. The breakfast was fine and tasty, and the location was great.
