The rooms had a clean, classic look, and the staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast came in generous portions with lots of choice, and the price was good value. It’s centrally located, with a rooftop view of Registan.

You can walk to Registan Square in about five minutes, and the location is great. But I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I booked two nights and told them through Agoda that I’d arrive late because of my train. They cancelled the first night anyway, then put us in a very poor, uncomfortable room. The management felt manipulative, taking advantage of our situation to get as much money as possible. Their idea of helping seemed to benefit them while leaving the customer with less. Stay away.

Minor Hotel Samarkand was a great stay. The location was convenient, and the service was excellent. Our room was comfortable and clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good range. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is close to the main tourist sights, and the rooms are clean and well kept. Staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was good, even better than at other hotels I’ve stayed in. I’d highly recommend the place.
