Motrid Hotel

We came as a group of ten and were placed in rooms for two or three people. The rooms were clean, with a traditional look and all the basics, including a toilet and shower. The bed linen was spotless, and the prices were affordable. Our hosts were welcoming and attentive. Many thanks to them!

The staff were friendly, though the hotel is out by the road and a long way from the city center. Breakfast was poor and came half an hour late: we were told 7:00, but it wasn't served until 7:30. Some rooms look only onto an inner courtyard, and they don't take credit cards.

The rooms are spacious, and the shower pressure was good, which is unusual in Uzbekistan. Breakfast was excellent too, and there was a traditional trestle bed and a couple of swings. The staff were warm and welcoming. You can get to the city center by bus without trouble, but in the evening don't count on catching the last one, as it might leave. We were very pleased and highly recommend the hotel.

We came from Turkey as three friends and stayed together. We never got used to the breakfast, but the place felt comfortable and safe for a family stay. We won't forget the friendly smile of the owner, SÜNNET. I strongly recommend it.
