The breakfast was a great start to the day, with cooked eggs, fresh and dried fruits, and plenty of local delicacies. The rooms were very nice, and the location made it easy to reach Samarkand's main attractions. Babor and Mirjalol were pleasant with every guest and went out of their way to make us comfortable. There was a small mix-up at check-in, but they sorted it out quickly and apologized, which I appreciated. A car can't get to the entrance, so you'll need to park in a nearby alley and walk about 50 meters. That was no problem for us, just useful to know. I had a very pleasant stay at Sangozor Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Samarkand.

The guest service was amazing. Mr Bobur is probably the best hotel manager in the entire country, and thanks also to Mrjalol and Elzod. We found the breakfast the most complete we'd had in Central Asia. The hotel is quiet and super comfortable, on a picturesque pedestrian street, just 2 blocks from the tourist attractions.

During our 10 day trip to Uzbekistan, the 3 nights at Sangzor were the most memorable and comfortable for my spouse and me. The bidet was a big relief since they're uncommon in Uzbekistan. We found the rooms well maintained and conditioned, the staff polite, and the breakfast excellent. Its location also made it easy to get around Samarkand's hotspots. Great value, highly recommended.

Kamila and the other gentleman at reception helped us whenever we needed, no matter the time. The rooms were huge and breakfast was amazing. The location saved us a lot of time, with Registaan square and Bibi Khnaum mosque both just a 2 minutes walk away. We had a really nice stay and highly recommend this property.

Getting a taxi here can be tricky since the hotel isn't accessible by car. To book a cab, ask the receptionist to adjust the pick-up pin. On the plus side, Registan Square is less than 5 minutes away on foot, the staff were accommodating, and breakfast was nice. They weren't very generous with bath essentials like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, though at least there's a bidet.
