There isn’t really a common area or much of a social atmosphere, so it feels more like a hotel than a hostel. If you’re hoping to meet people, it may not suit you. Still, I’d stay again for the location and price. It’s right by the bazaar and close to the tourist sights. I stayed once on arrival in Uzbekistan and again before leaving. The staff were very kind, and when I arrived off a night train the second time, they let me check in early. The beds were comfy, the AC worked well, and the hostel was clean. A couple more plugs in the rooms would be useful.
