EDIT: A few days after I posted this, a man messaged me privately on Telegram, saying he was one of the hotel's admins. He asked me to remove the review "for his future." Please be aware that they are trying to control what people say about them. It also seems the hotel uses guests' personal information for its own benefit without permission. For the price, this was far below what I expected. Among the places to stay in Uzbekistan, it might pass for a short business trip, but they lacked even basic guest service and safety procedures or equipment. When I was asleep at midnight, another guest came into my room because the front desk had given him my key. He got shouted at, poor man. The desk staff didn't apologize or explain what had happened until I asked. The front desk was rude. I've never been treated this way by service staff in any country. They didn't act like professional hotel staff, more like high school boys picked up off the street. Some ignored guests if they didn't like what was being said, or who was saying it. I was only asking ordinary questions, like "is it a registration strip?" and "I thought I could pay with cash?" After I came back from a day trip, the room was around 35℃. When I complained, the response was basically, "so, what do you want?" They said nothing could be done because the central heating was running unless they shut the whole system off, and they hadn't considered doing that. They also promised to send an engineer, but didn't tell me about the central heating until I asked where the engineer was, 40 minutes later. There were dangerous mix-ups with the shower taps too. On the 7th floor washstand, hot water came from the blue tap and cold from the red one, and I nearly got burned. In the shower, both taps were marked "cold," so you had to guess which one was hot. After I'd paid all the charges and checked out, they canceled my booking on the booking platform, claiming "she didn't show up." I hope it wasn't to avoid a negative review.

It's close to the city centre, with average rooms at reasonable prices. During Covid-19 the hotel was being used for quarantine, and it was a good place to wait out the process. The staff were helpful and cheerful, and the hotel also served alcohol.

No AC, no service, no food, no water. It's a very poor place, like a third-grade hostel turned into a hotel. Don't be fooled by how it looks. In India, you'd get this kind of hotel for 200 per night.

It wasn't as good as I'd hoped. It mainly seems suited to business travellers, though the location is handy with lots of transport options nearby.

Clean and comfortable, with all the essentials and friendly staff. The place is somewhat austere, and you'll have to pay if you accidentally break something.
