The air conditioning was the only thing I liked about this hotel. The beds were uncomfortable, breakfast was small, and the fruit smelled rotten. Curtains and chairs were badly stained, and the shower head didn’t work properly. We were refused early check-in because the room wasn’t ready, even though it was included in our reservation. We were too tired to argue and understood that slip-ups happen, so we came back later. But when we left for the train at 6 in the morning, the receptionist wanted $10 because my red hair dye had stained the pillowcase. We paid because we were in a hurry. Don’t hotel owners have washing machines? I forgot to mention this in my Booking review, and since I can’t reply there, I’ll respond here to their claim that I’d been warned about “damaging the hotel property.” I was never told that. A dirty cover is a consumable, not really property, and with a washing machine it shouldn’t be a problem. I wash mine at home with regular detergent and it never stains, so maybe they need better equipment. I’ve stayed in guesthouses and five-star hotels in numerous countries and stained several pillows with my hair dye, but I’ve never been charged. Stop blaming guests for your inability to do the job.

The hotel is clean, and the breakfast is good, with delicious natural coffee. The reception staff are pleasant and young. It’s in a quiet part of the city, and the location works well for visiting Tashkent. Two parks are about a 7-10 minute walk away, and the metro takes 10-12 minutes on foot. We stayed here twice. It’s a new, small hotel, though I wish it were a little cheaper. The big drawback is that there’s no soundproofing at all.

It’s a decent place to sleep if you want friendly staff and a reasonable breakfast. The amenities are average, nothing like the Ritz. It’s cheap, with basics such as water, toiletries, and a simple breakfast. Some parts are showing their age, but it’s clean. The location isn’t especially convenient, though taxis or a bit of walking make it manageable. The air conditioner took a while to cool the room in summer, but eventually it worked once we found the right setting.

The place is far inside the area. It may look central on a map, but finding the hotel is difficult. The price doesn’t match the service, and visitors don’t seem to matter to them. The reception boys on duty were discourteous and uncultured. When we tried to explain things, they acted like punks, as if customers weren’t human beings. I don’t recommend booking here.
