Inspira-S Tashkent Hotel

The breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the roomy dining area meant we could eat calmly without waiting for a table. Our room was nicely furnished with modern furniture, and everything in it worked as it should. The staff were warm and polite, and their walking advice helped us find our way around and discover places we might have missed. We stayed two nights at Hotel Inspira-S on our first visit to Uzbekistan. Chorsu Bazaar and the Hazrati Imam Complex & Islamic Civilization Center were both easy to reach, so we could see key sights without long journeys. It made for a comfortable, easy start to Tashkent.

Bobur, Ravshan, and the rest of the team were so kind and attentive. I didn't get everyone's names, but they were always smiling, polite, and ready to help. Their hospitality would make me want to return. The main drawback was the central air conditioning. The rooms were hot, but the system was set to heat, apparently until sometime in May, so we couldn't cool them. I also expected more from a four-star hotel when it came to toiletries: there was no body lotion, and the little shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel bottles seemed more suited to a three-star place.

The welcoming, friendly staff really made this hotel for me. It's clean, centrally located, and close to a Metro station, with lovely food and good facilities including a spa and pool. The team is both warm and professional.

The neighborhood felt safe and lively well into the night, though most attractions are more than a 20-minute walk away. The hotel itself gets the basics right: a practical location, helpful staff, good sleep, a 24/7 gym with everything you need, and a healthy breakfast with a solid cappuccino.
