The owner’s reaction on arrival was really rude. I’d arranged the dates and price beforehand over WhatsApp, but she objected to my bicycle and said it was my fault she hadn’t heard about the agreement made with her employee. It left the stay feeling unwelcoming and not like the Uzbek hospitality I’d hoped for. I’d book elsewhere.

The room had a plate of half-eaten food in it when we arrived, and the photos didn’t match what we found. We’d booked through Airbnb at half the price they quoted in person, then they demanded double. For that same amount, you could get a decent hotel room with a private bathroom and breakfast.

I was happy with my stay. It was an affordable, cozy place, kept very clean, and the staff were polite. Breakfast was delicious, thanks to the Chef! One small suggestion: bigger mirrors in the rooms would be useful.

Handy location near the metro, and the place was clean. Breakfast was good too.

The price is affordable, though the bathroom is shared.
