Hotel Ramada By Wyndham Tashkent

The moneychanger office in the hotel was especially helpful, open daily at 10am. I hadn't changed currency at the airport, and my euro wasn't accepted anywhere. If bringing foreign cash, take USD instead. There's also a USD to som conversion machine in the lobby. This is an older hotel brought back by Wyndham. Make sure drivers have the right address, since there are several Wyndham hotels and this one used to go by another name. It's near Nowruz Park, an entertainment park, and there's a nice Indian restaurant in the basement. The staff are cheerful and helpful, though some don't know English. There's plenty of parking, but little within walking distance apart from a convenience store.

A little old, but still very good value for the money. The rooms are nice, breakfast is good, and the location is great with everything close by. It works well for business or a family trip. The staff are good, especially those on the morning shift.

The service was a real highlight. The staff were efficient, helpful, caring, and spoke English, going out of their way to help us get around this new, growing tourist destination. For anyone starting an Uzbekistan trip in Tashkent, this is where I'd recommend staying. It felt like five-star service, as good as what I usually get in Western big-city hotels that cost four times as much. Staying here was a wonderful experience. The hotel is clean, spacious, convenient, and well worth the price. Breakfast is fabulous. The team's positive attitude and coordination really showed high hospitality standards. Everyone was professional, welcoming, and attentive to the details, and they made me feel valued and comfortable throughout my stay. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this hotel.
