Tourist INN Hotel

The hotel approved my cancellation without a fee, which I appreciated. The staff were helpful, but the rooms were what they were. I needed a room for my last couple of nights in Uzbekistan and hadn’t done my homework, so that part was my fault. The reviews looked okay, so I booked a king room. In the first room, the swipe card didn’t work and the cleaner let me in. The bed was rock hard, basically plywood with a mattress protector. I’ve stayed in China and other parts of Asia, but this was next level, so I asked for a softer bed. The card didn’t work in the next room either, and that door wouldn’t lock. The bed there was super soft, but I could live with it. I went back to ask about fixing the lock. Reception tried for 20 minutes and couldn’t get it working, then said maybe maintenance could fix it tomorrow. At that point, I left to find another hotel.

Even for a short stopover, I’d look for somewhere else next time. We stayed for about 7.5 hours between flights, which was just enough. I wouldn’t choose it for a city visit: it’s a bit out of the way, down a small, dark alley. The beds were rock solid. There were no blankets in the room, so we had to ask for some. They brought them, but it was strange. Maybe they’d forgotten them, I don’t know.

Comfortable, nice hotel with clean rooms, a good breakfast, and friendly staff. The price was reasonable too. I recommend it!

It was really good and cheap. The beds were clean, and I liked them. Good for solo guests on trips.
