It’s an affordable, clean hostel, about a five-minute walk from the railway station.

Flies kept me awake until morning, and I hope the sheets had been washed. There was no soap in my room, and the toilet didn’t work. It’s the worst hotel experience I’ve had in years.

The rooms feel old and Soviet-era, and the toilets are very outdated. I booked through booking.com, but the room wasn’t available at the agreed price. After several calls, Booking.com didn’t come up with a satisfactory solution, and the owner offered us a room for twice the price. The staff didn’t seem interested in finding a proper fix. There’s a better hotel 200 meters around the corner for less.

Service and communication were poor, and the hotel looked only partly renovated. The rooms are very small. There wasn’t a sink in the bathroom, or towels, soap, and other basics.

There are plenty of rooms here, and the hostel is worth the money.
