The Palm Island Resort - All Inclusive

The boat ride to Mayreau and Tobago Cay was a highlight, especially snorkeling with sea turtles just a few feet away. A spa session is a must too. Back on the island, quiet comes first: even when the resort was at capacity, the main beach never felt crowded, and you could bike off to trails or smaller beaches and go hours without seeing anyone. Hammock #4 is a lovely spot to spend a day if you want that private island feeling. From the rum punch greeting when you step off the boat to the staff waving goodbye from the dock, they don’t miss the small details. You get to know them by name, and they learn what you like. It’s a unique Caribbean experience, and by far the best Caribbean beach vacation I’ve had. I usually prefer exploring somewhere new, but I’ll be coming back.

You can wander to different beaches, each with its own charm, or get a bike and cycle around. There are pleasant walks too, with panoramic views of the island and its surroundings. The bungalow rooms are comfortable, with huge beds, cozy chairs, and daybeds on the patio. The white sandy beach is right there, with plenty of straw parasols and sunbeds. The food and drinks are excellent, though I’d like to see the lunch menu change weekly. Katie, the General Manager, leads a great team, and nothing seems too much trouble.

I loved the menu and the tasty dishes. The island itself is beautiful, with bikes and good paths for riding, plus nature trails if you want a little more activity. The staff were amazing, all so friendly, and seemed to enjoy working there. I saw several people singing and dancing as they worked. The top manager always made time to ask how we were doing and whether she could do anything to improve our stay. This place is fantastic.

There’s plenty to fill the week: we biked, hiked, got massages and went snorkeling. We also watched a movie on the beach, danced to music, saw a cooking demo, relaxed by the water, and met guests from different parts of the world. The resort has a gym, library, pool, and tennis courts as well. Palm Island is a remote hideaway with incredible scenery, great food, spacious rooms, and top notch restaurants. More than anything, the team made us feel welcome and worked hard to make us happy. Katie, the General Manager, and her staff were so welcoming. We had an amazing week and hope to return someday.
