Dinner was lovely, and the veranda made a really nice setting. The food was carefully prepared and presented, and the bar was a good place to stop for a drink beforehand. Everyone on staff was welcoming, relaxed, attentive, and genuinely excellent. A wonderful evening.

The food was fabulous, and great snorkeling is only a few steps from the beach. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the service was the most delightful I’ve experienced. Most of the staff have been there for years, so they understand exactly what visitors expect. I visited during the slow season and loved how peaceful it was. I hear winter and July/August bring an amazing social scene with repeat visitors and owners. Cotton House and Mustique really live up to their reputation as a serene escape. I’ll fit another visit into my travel plans as soon as I can. It’s as close to perfect as anywhere I’ve found.

The rooms are spacious, private, and well equipped, with a very relaxed atmosphere that never feels pretentious. The staff make the stay special, with some of the friendliest, most attentive service in the Caribbean. Snorkeling in the lagoon in front of the beach is great. One thing to know is that the food has quite a strong British influence. A truly five-star, magical experience.

The restaurant was great, the wine list was amazing, and the atmosphere is hard to beat. It felt like sheer luxury, and I had a wonderful time. I did have a couple of bad moments: at the beach bar they gave me the wrong beer, it was warm, and I still had to pay even though it was their mistake. I was also bitten by awful insects that left horrible, itchy bumps.

Our room was wonderful, and the location was awesome. The hotel staff were great hosts, thanks to everyone. While touring the island and driving past his mansion, I think we spotted mick Jagger out around town. 4.5 stars.
