That quiet pool tucked into the hills was a highlight. We spent a few days just relaxing there with the lizards around us. The villa itself felt special from the minute we arrived, and the balcony upstairs had incredible views out over the sea. We mostly stayed in for breakfast and lunch during our eight nights. The kitchen had what we needed, and we picked up supplies at a couple of supermarkets in town. The living room was roomy and comfortable for winding down in the evenings. The main bedroom was lovely, with a big bathroom. We rented a car to get around the island, shop when needed, and visit the restaurants in the evening. Suzanne was kind and helpful from booking through the stay, with advice whenever we needed it. The meal she had prepared for our arrival was delicious and much appreciated. Thanks for sharing Bay Tree Villa with us. We hope to return someday. ❤️

We took the walk up to the park at the top of Spring. It was a bit of a climb, but the view made it worthwhile. We also loved the view from the villa, which you could enjoy from every room, the veranda, and the pool. The early morning sun was especially nice, and the pool was perfect after a day out exploring or at the beach. The house is spacious and thoughtfully equipped. We couldn't think of anything to improve, and the kitchen had everything for meals at home. Beach chairs saved us from renting any, while the cooler and ice packs were handy for snacks and drinks at the beach and cold groceries on the way back. We didn't use the gym this time, but it looked well equipped, so hopefully we'll get to it next visit. Jo was wonderful. We appreciated the dinner waiting for us and the basic groceries, and she helped us figure out how Mark could see a doctor for his bad neck problems and possibly get medicine for the long trip home. Her husband was also very nice and shared some local information, though I can't remember his name. We got attached to the resident gecko, Steve, for reasons we can't explain. He'd sneak in several times a day, puff out his neck as if checking us out, then head inside. We'd catch him and guide him back out. He was amusing, and we already miss him. We hope to come back and see more of beautiful Bequia.

The villa's view is spectacular, and the pool looks even better with that backdrop. We spent hours taking in the sights and sounds of the gardens around the house. Inside, everything was lovely too: a clean, spacious kitchen with what we needed, and a comfortable open living area. The main bedroom had a very comfortable bed, screen doors that let in a wonderful breeze all night, a spotless large bathroom, and a walk-in closet with vanity that fit our luggage and clothes. The washer and dryer were a welcome bonus. We didn't use the gym, but it seemed to have everything for a good workout. Getting there was easy because the owner arranged taxi pickups from the airport and ferry, and our rental car and Bequia license were waiting at the villa. It was dark and raining when we arrived. The owner's mom greeted us warmly, showed us around, and answered questions about groceries and restaurants. Since we didn't know Bequia and she was concerned about us driving unfamiliar roads at night, she'd cooked dinner and left some grocery basics for us. Suzanne and Jo were kind and supportive throughout the trip, and made sure we had safe rides with great taxi drivers on Bequia and St. Vincent. We learned a line from the owner's father: “You have to say good-bye to come back!!!” We'll definitely return to Bequia, and especially to Bay Tree Villa. Thank you! Shannon and Dominic

Tim and Sue made the stay especially welcoming. They greeted us warmly and kept checking that we had what we needed to be comfortable and enjoy ourselves. The villa itself was gorgeous, with spacious, nicely decorated rooms and all the amenities we could need. The pool overlooks the ocean, with plenty of loungers and places to sit outside. From the moment we arrived, the views were breathtaking, and the care put into the villa was clear. Bay Tree Villa was an unforgettable stay. I'd happily come back, whether for a romantic break or a family holiday.

After more than 25 years of annual Caribbean trips, this is the best maintained villa my husband and I have stayed in. The mature, lush gardens around the house open onto a breathtaking view of Spring Bay and the hills. Inside, the furniture, including the bed, was comfortable and in excellent condition. I love cooking, so the huge kitchen was a real pleasure. It had modern appliances, and the outdoor grill looked brand new too. Suzanne and Tim's attention to detail made the stay feel easy from the start. Suzanne arranged for the rental car company to collect us at the airport and bring us to the villa, then leave the car with us on a Sunday at 6:30 PM. After our ten hours of travel, cold beer, bottled water, fresh baked bread, butter, eggs, and plenty more were waiting. We could eat that evening and have breakfast without leaving before we'd rested. This is how renting a villa should be. We plan to return.
