Sadewa Villa

The seaweed on the shoreline is affecting the property even though the house is far from the beach. The smell of it rotting made the place unpleasant. I also don't know where the waterfront photos on the site were taken, because the house doesn't offer those views. It's a nice, large villa, but it needs a lot of care. The oven didn't work, the stove needs replacing, and the bedroom blinds were ripped. Internet was very poor except in the living room. Some doors wouldn't lock, and the bedroom door did lock but there was no key. The pool is showing its age and needs attention. Plug faceplates were broken or missing, and some window glass and bathroom enclosures were broken or cracked. Honestly, with the prices being charged, the property needs a lot of work to bring it up to standard.

The staff were great, the internet connection reliable, and I loved having a separate shower and bathtub. The hill and ocean views were lovely too. Water needs to be used very carefully on the island, and flushing can be an “oopsie” since the tanks refill a little slowly. Still, I really enjoyed this charming villa and the attention to detail.

We had such a good time here and are already working out when we can return. The villa is huge and gorgeous, full of light, with doors and windows opening onto the decks and pool. Highly recommend it for a family break or just the two of you.
