Mary and the rest of the staff were good to us, and the food was really nice. The quiet beach setting and the views were lovely too. But the room let the stay down badly. It felt very basic and worn, and needs a serious paint job and new furnishings. For what they charge per night, that was hard to believe. The beach and room towels were another disappointment, dirty and overused. A few basic improvements could make this a really lovely hotel.

The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and every one looks out over the ocean. The hotel sits on what I thought was the island's best beach. New management made us feel welcome, and they were friendly and quick to help. The chef was great about special dietary requests too. Just a lovely place.

The bay is calm and great for kayaking, and breakfast is served right on the beach. Mary and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. David’s does show a little wear from being right by the ocean, but the location is amazing. Sparrows is next door if you want more food or a blended drink.

Meals here are first class, with the excellent chef Calicia preparing them. Ken, the Owner/Manager, and the staff were attentive and accommodating throughout. David's Beach Hotel is a lovely choice for a quiet, relaxing break. Sitting on the balcony with the sound of the waves and a view out to sea feels magical.

I stayed at David's from Dec 23,2020 - Jan 2, 2021, after it had come under new management. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. My room was large, with a big balcony looking over the white sand beach. I totally loved the place and am excited to stay again this coming Easter!!!
