I spent a week in one of the apartments and had a great experience. Lubin was there every morning and easy to reach by WhatsApp. He was very nice, picked me up at the ferry port, and offered to take me on an island tour. I can highly recommend the Friendship Apartments. There are two villas, each with two spacious apartments, set on a hillside within walking distance of a quiet, clean beach. Nearby there’s a nice beach bar and cafe, plus restaurants at the hotel. The apartment’s two large terraces were its best feature: one overlooks the bay, as in the video, and the other faces the hillside. You can have breakfast on the first before the sun reaches it, then move to the other terrace and relax in the hammock. The kitchen was well equipped and, importantly, had outlets for US plugs. The rest of the house had UK outlets. Window nets kept mosquitoes out. I didn’t use the air conditioning because a good breeze came through the open windows.

We were in a quiet, great area, and Lubin drove us around during our time in Bequia. He was a wonderful host. Communication was easy, and he showed us some great places for photos and dinner.

The owner provided excellent taxi service wherever we needed to go, and the apartments were an easy walk from the beach. We were very happy with our time at the friendship apartments. They had everything we needed.

The best part was our host, Lubin. He knows the island deeply, having been born there, and showed us around and recommended great spots. It’s a spacious two-bedroom flat with a kitchen, patio, and terrific view. The beach is walkable, and I went every day. Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Whether it’s your first visit or you’re coming back, you should book Friendship Garden Apartments. You’ll feel

We first visited and stayed at Lubin’s apartments in 1996, and our recent holiday at Friendship Garden Apartments in Bequia was a total joy. Lubin and his family, who own the apartments, were wonderful hosts. The apartment is large, attractive, comfortable, and has everything you need, including two lovely outdoor decks. The kitchen is perfect for meals in, and Lubin brought us delicious fresh fish caught that day. Gorgeous Friendship Beach is only a few minutes’ walk away. Admiralty Bay’s beautiful beaches and restaurants are a 25-minute walk or a short taxi ride. Lubin also runs a taxi service and showed us great places to swim and eat. We enjoyed an amazing full-day tour of the island as well. Bequia is a beautiful Caribbean island with a fascinating history, and we loved visiting the new Bequia Heritage Museum. Lubin’s family has a rich history in Bequia. We loved our visit and can’t wait to book again!
