For a low price, this place does the job. I liked room 217, the one with the double bed. The Wi-Fi was decent, and the pool was fine for spending a little time in. Barinas has better options, but this is an old roadside hotel that's somehow still around, so the complaints about the rooms don't surprise me. Maybe its famous restaurant will reopen someday and things will get better.

The restaurant was the worst part. Breakfast was a rip-off: the portion was small, the food didn't match the menu, and the waiter's service was even worse. They were very rude, so I wouldn't recommend eating there. The rooms were clean but basic, with almost no toilet paper and no remote for the TV.

The staff were attentive and ready to help with whatever you need. It's a lovely, peaceful spot to unwind and watch the sunrise with the birds. There are little animals around the property, though, so keep an eye out for iguanas in the gardens. I highly recommend it.
