Hotel Mastranto Suite

The room rates were given in dollars over WhatsApp, but when I arrived they said they charge in euros. That feels abusive and disrespectful to customers. I wouldn't recommend staying here under any circumstances, especially with much better and more honest places in Barinas. Don't waste your money. The facilities are neglected: old furniture, unattractive bathrooms for the price, and a very old, noisy window air conditioner. There are no generators or emergency lights, so power cuts leave the hallways completely dark, which is dangerous with all the glass decorations. When the power goes out, there's no bathroom water either. There was never hot water. The hygiene and service were awful. The most unbelievable thing was seeing the receptionist take off her shoes and climb onto the bed to switch on the air conditioner. That showed a complete lack of cleanliness and ethics.

The only good thing was the reception staff. The hotel is badly run down, the beds are disgusting, and everything else is poor. The bathroom is worse still.

The place was clean and comfortable, the workers were friendly, and the service was very good.
