The meals were fabulous, and the excursions were a highlight: our river trip to Salto Angel included an unforgettable night sleeping in hammocks at camp, and we also hiked for three hours to Salto Angel, visited Pozo Azul, and took a thrilling helicopter flight. Ara Meru made the trip easy from the start with airport transfers, a welcome drink, and help with our bags. The all-inclusive lodge was lovely, and seeing Majka the tapir each day, along with the ara and leguan, added to the charm. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

The excursions to Angel Falls and Canaima were all A+, and the food was great too. The staff were kind, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing breakfast with a view for my birthday, and David and the staff even woke me with a birthday song. David also kept me busy with tours and excursions around Canaima, and took some amazing photos of me. I came away loving my stay and felt that the team took care of every detail. Before arriving, I was worried since my Spanish is basically nonexistent. The booking got stressful too: my bank transfer was delayed, but Evelysse from the office kept in touch in English and did her best to help me get to Canaima for my birthday. When it finally came through at the last minute, she quickly booked my tickets and sent all the stay details. She even left me a postcard when I arrived and remembered to send birthday wishes. At the lodge, David, whose English is perfect, put me at ease and worked hard to make the day special.
